Some Definitions

Here are a few definitions to help:

Endorsement:
An addition to an insurance contract that changes what it covers.
Primary driver of the vehicle:
The primary driver of the vehicle is the one who drives it the most often of any of the drivers.
Secondary driver of the vehicle:
A secondary driver is a driver who drives the vehicle frequently but not as often as the primary driver.
Insurance broker:
Brokers are insurance specialists. They are the people to contact if you need anything after signing your contract. They are there to answer questions and give advice.

Deductible:
The deductible is the amount of money you agree to pay if you make a claim. For example, if you choose a $500 deductible, you will pay for the first $500 of damage to your vehicle. Your insurance provider will pay the rest.
2 year policy:
An insurance contract that last for 24 months, during which time the premium* is fixed, even if you have an accident during the first year.

*On the condition that the client does not request any changes that affect the premium, such as changing vehicles or changing address.
Insurance premium:
The insurance premium is the amount of money you pay the insurance company to have the right to the coverage described in your insurance contract.
Claim:
A request for compensation made to the insurance company for any damage to the insured person’s property in an accident.
Accident:
An event that causes damage to the insured person’s property.
Passenger vehicle:
A vehicle used for touring, commuting, or business travel (like when representatives travel to visit customers). These types of vehicles do not include any vehicle used by tradespeople (plumbers, electricians, etc.) as part of their jobs.
